  One star, only because 0 stars isn't allowed by google. I have had farmers for over 5 years and never had a problem until James Winger became my agent. I called to add a vehicle and we discussed the changes to my policy and was told what my new rate would be. Intentional or not, he misrepresented information that he presented to me resulting in my rate becoming more than double what he and I discussed on the phone. I noticed this after the auto draft resulted in an overdraft of the account that I had linked to my policy. I had called his office to get this resolved and spent a few days of waiting for a call back that I was promised (was promised a call back the same day) but never received only to be told that there was nothing they could do about it when I called to follow up. I feel deceived, taken advantage of and lied to. Farmers lost a long time customer because of this series of events Update: After posting this review, James Winger contacted me to ask me to change my review to a higher rating but couldn't fix his mistakes to warrant such a change, so I declined, all 3 times that he asked. Shortly after this, his assistant "Deborah R" (the same one that messed up my cancellation date and dropped the ball calling me back) posted 5 star reviews on google and yelp for James. I can certainly think of more ethical ways to get 5 star reviews.

  I am very happy to have Jim Winger in the Marana neighborhood. He has provided services to my family and me as far back as 2003. As an insurance agent he not only provides great products, but also provides a genuine approach to helping the people in the community.

  Outstanding job!. I have been with the same insurance company for years and thought I had good rates. I decided to reach out to Jim Winger to get a price and he saved me several hundred dollars for better coverage than what I had. He and his team were first class, provided outstanding service and were without a doubt better than most other agents I visited in the area.
