  He was very expensive. Burned through my $5,000 deposit insanely fast. Even after I explained it was all I could afford for the entire case. Mixed my case with his other cases. Would tell the judge I wanted custody during certain days when I wanted different days. Did not consult me on some matters and told the judge inaccurate information on my behalf. I did not feel like he represented my case nearly as well as he could have. Maybe he has too many clients. Very unhappy with the outcome of my divorce under his legal counsel. When I wanted to appeal, he wanted to charge me $10,000 deposit. Didn't even offer advice on how to file amendment to spousal maintenance paperwork instead of appeal and I had to get that advice from another attorney. Not worth the money.

  Mr. Montoya represented me with my case for child support and parenting time. He is an amazing lawyer! I got everything I asked for and more. I believe his pricing to also be very reasonable. He gave me tons of information regarding my rights as a parent, and knowledge about family court that I had never known or would've known had I not hired him to represent me. I highly recommend Mr. Montoya if you need a family lawyer.
