- ★ ★ ☆ ☆ ☆I had gone in to the bank to deposit money for my daughter into the car loan account that my husband and my daughter share, remind you I'm trying to put money in the account and for almost 15min I'm being told no I can't do that because I'm not on the account. No other bank or credit union have I been told that I couldn't deposit money into an account, I'm not removing money I'm adding money to the account. I was trying to help my daughter because she moved back east and my husband was in the hospital so I was trying to put money into the account before the car payment was due. After about 15-20 min and calls to my daughter and husband so they could answer questions was I finally able to deposit the moneyBy Crystal Rowsell, July 12, 2017
- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★I can tell most of the low reviews are coming from the after hours call center the bank uses. They have always been less than helpful to me. Everything else about this bank has been fantastic. They have great tellers, fair terms on loans, and good customer service in the bank. As somebody who has experienced the frustration of the after hours call center I would rather the phone system say to call during hours and only transfer me to the call center if I needed to report a card lost/stolen.By John Dudley, December 17, 2016
- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Hughes has wasted 4 hours of my time this week trying to get a dispute solved that ended up costing me another $30 because they couldn't handle it in time. They process transactions for the day before they actually open so you won't be able to get money in your account if you need to. They charge $10 if you lose your card and won't handle any problems with you unless their manager is there and they don't get in until after you need them. Been with this bank my whole life and basically if you need a lot of access and to deal with your bank a lot this isn't the right credit union for you.By Clarke McCleave, October 28, 2016
