  These people ruined a much needed vacation for all who went because of the blatant incompetence of this passport agency. My graduation present was to be able to bring 3 of my closest friends down to my families house in Mexico. The idea of this had been set up years prior and so the anticipation was immense. One of my best friends who was going on the trip with us died in a car accident on 5/17/10, the same day another friend turned in his passport information. This vacation had now become instead of a graduation gift, more of a needed escape from the rest of the world. the period of time it takes for passports to come is about 6 weeks so he had plenty of time before the trip to get his passport. three weeks before the trip (6 weeks later) he gets a letter stating his ID was incorrect. the mistake was immediately corrected and they began calling the passport agency EVERY DAY. Now, the trip is tomorrow and they have not even made the passport yet. we have given them a deadline. we have shown them the severity of if it is not there on time, and still the people at this agency pass the problem on to the next person who answers the phone. we have been lied to during THE most stressful experience we have all encountered. poor service. no customer help. now my friend has to pay for the already bought airline ticket of $450 and doesn't even get to go. extremely unsatisfied customer.

  Horrible. Go anywhere else but here. Was told to expect a one hour wait. Then, after I waited an hour, 2 hours. Then three. Meanwhile, clerk stays behind her desk doing nothing and only seeing client's every half-hour or so. Wasted my day here, and now have to leave with no passport, go somewhere else, and start over.
