- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆The woman at the front desk with the brown hair and glasses is so incredibly rude. I had a book to send out for a funeral service and she refused to give me any options other than the most expensive priority mail. For a thin, less than 1lbs book going to the next state over should not have cost nearly $10. I asked her for other options and she shouted over her desk to another employee asking "Hey! this is for a funeral, it's a photo album book. Does it count?" I could not believe she would yell out such insensitive information when clearly there was nothing less in the world I wanted to do than be harassed by this woman while mailing something for a deceased person. She also made a big fuss over needing my ID for my credit card and tried to chastise me like a small child for it not being signed. Offered to pay via chip and pin but apparently she "didn't have a chip reader." why offer that option in the first place then? A rip off and so insensitive. I am writing to USPS headquarters about this incident.By AS M, August 08, 2017
- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆My carrier left a slip on Feb 16 (dated Fed 17) to PU a package on the 17th after 3:00. Checked tracking # on line to verify package was at the office. The "customer service" lady behind the door said the package was not there because my slip was dated the 17th...didn't even look. It's a shame I didn't bring the on line confirmation, but don't think she would of believed that either. I tried to explain and she shut the door while I was talking. I left as others were waiting behind me with jaws to the floor. Anyone wonder why the USPS is in trouble? Just because they have government jobs we are still their customers and if they don't want customer contact they should be placed in another department.By Glenn Deutsch, July 06, 2017
